Flowerpot enclosures, also called ground sleeves or FTTH pedestals, are small-diameter round boxes designed for fiber-to-the-home drop connections, low-count splices, and terminal access points. The round profile and compact footprint make them ideal for residential installations where a full-size rectangular handhole would be oversized and unnecessary.
Galloway stocks Utility Plastics flowerpot enclosures and fiber pedestals, injection-molded in UV-stabilized polypropylene at their plants in Georgia and South Carolina. They're light enough for a single installer to set by hand, and the twist-lock lids shrug off mower strikes — the everyday killer of drop-point enclosures. Lids come in standard telecom colors and can be custom-marked with your logo or network ID.
Utility Plastics Flowerpot & Pedestal Range
The range runs from a compact 10" round flowerpot for single-drop access, through a staked flowerpot pedestal for above-grade terminations, to a full above-ground fiber pedestal for distribution and demarcation points. All bodies are field-modifiable with standard cutting tools, and load ratings follow ASTM C857 for pedestrian, non-vehicular applications.
