PVC Split Duct
PVC split duct is a two-piece conduit that snaps together around existing cables, allowing crews to repair damaged conduit or enclose exposed cable runs without cutting and re-splicing conductors. The self-locking interlocking design creates a tight, protective seal without tape, straps, or adhesives. Galloway stocks PVC split duct from Conduit Repair Systems (CRS) and OSI Plastics.
Features
Every part of the system — duct, couplings, and sweeps — closes around in-place cable, so a run can be repaired, protected, or turned at a bend without cutting, pulling, or re-splicing the conductors underneath.

Loose Tube - OSP Backbone, Feeder & Distribution
Color-coded loose buffer tubes
Protect individual fibers from mechanical and environmental stress; stranded designs carry 6 to 24 tubes, central-tube designs a single tube
Single-mode OS2 (G.652.D) standard, G.657.A1 for tighter bend routing;
OFS AllWave ZWP fiber gives zero water peak across the full wavelength spectrum
Gel-free DryBlock construction (OFS)
Reduces splice prep time by up to 80% vs. gel-filled designs
Jacket and construction options span single jacket (SJ) through double-armored (DA)
Corrugated steel tape armor for direct-burial without conduit or in rodent-prone areas; OFS Fortex DT Light Armor is gel-free and mass-fusion-ready
All-dielectric ADSS variant for aerial self-support
No messenger wire, no grounding on energized power lines; aramid strength members support spans to ~1,500 m depending on loading; OFS PowerGuide DT double-jacket eliminates all gels
Fiber counts from 12 to 864
Standard reel lengths 1 km and 2 km; multimode OM3/OM4 available for campus and data center interconnect

Ribbon - High Fiber Count Backbone & Trunk

-
For high-density backbone and trunk, hyperscale data center interconnect, and central office / carrier-hotel cabling
-
Fiber counts from 144 to 6,912+; outside diameter is critical for duct-fill calculations
-
Standard matrix, rollable, and intermittently bonded ribbon (IBR) constructions; rollable / IBR allows higher packing density in a smaller diameter
-
12-fiber mass-fusion splicing dramatically reduces splice time vs. single-fiber splicing
-
Single jacket, double jacket, armored, or all-dielectric construction
Flat Drop - Last-Mile FTTH
-
Flat self-supporting design for last-mile drops to home or business---aerial self-support or direct-buried final span
-
1, 2, 4, 6, and 12-fiber counts; G.657.A2 bend-tolerant fiber typical; compatible with standard wedge clamps and closure strain reliefs
-
Toneable (copper toner) variant locates buried drops after install without digging; all-dielectric version also available
-
MDPE outdoor jacket with flame-retardant option for indoor transition; pre-connectorized (OptiTap / hardened) or bulk reel; RUS (RDUS)-listed options available
