Delivering the convenience of a one-piece design, our No-Wrench Anchors are forged eye anchor rods with integral welded helixes and angle-cut tips. Whether you prefer manual installation or the use of conventional power equipment, these versatile ground anchors are designed for stability and optimal soil engagement, fulfilling your specific anchoring requirements.
Designed for augured holes, our Expanding (Bust) Anchors are one-piece formations that include wings and a base. The anchor's retainer conveniently secures the nut from the separately sold forged eye rod.
To install, first auger a hole in line with the guy angle, the size and depth of which is determined by the anchor's rod length. The rod is then attached to the anchor and lowered into the prepared hole. An expanding-and-tamping tool is utilized to hit the anchor's top, causing the blades to open into undisturbed soil. The hole is subsequently backfilled and tamped for stability.
To ensure longevity and resist corrosion, these anchors are treated with a rust inhibitor.
Our Forged Eye Anchor Rods come with the option of single, double, or triple eye terminations, each featuring a threaded tip and a heavy square nut. They are versatile and can be effectively used with both expandable and cross plate style anchors.
